I photographed Daron Coates for a beautiful brochure designed by Schum & Associates for the GWU Executive MBA program. Daron started a contracting firm called Team Systems International which is involved in developing liquid bio-fuel facilities. We used the ear of corn to symbolize his field of interest.
National Public Radio
I worked with Jacques Coughlin at National Public Radio, who wanted natural-looking portraits for NRP reporters. We photographed Jennifer Ludden in a park near their offices. Washington Convention Center is in the background.

Michael wanted some images for his modeling and acting promotion. We shot this image in a Memorial Cemetery near my studio in Falls Church, VA.

Myrna is the owner of Middle C Music for Music Magazine. Middle C Music is the only remaining full-service music store in Washington DC.
This Virginia couple wanted their horse, who was an important part of their lives, to be in their family portrait. The horse was very cooperative!
Nina and plane
This is a composite photo-Nina has a striking beauty and she agreed to let me photographer her. I had photographed the airplane and dark sky earlier, while in a boat on the Potomac river. The images seemed to work together in summarizing the fear of September 11.

I loved our neighbor Annie's freckles and red hair and asked her parents if I could photograph her. She was a great model!

Supon Phornirunlit is a designer I worked with for many years. He had an extensive mechanical toy collection and wanted to sell some of them on-line. I came up with this brightly-colored portrait for the site, which captured his personality.
GW Healthcare
I worked with talented Art Director, J.R. Soldano to create this ad which appeared on buses and posters though out Washington, DC. It was shot on 4x5 film, which was a challenge for the four-year old!
Katie and Rafi
I was fascinated with the idea of combining flash with ambient light, so recruited my daughter and nephew to pose in the parking lot of Regal Theatre in Rockville.
EPA
The Environmental Protection Agency wanted to show a pregnant woman with water for a brochure that talked about water safety. The son was hanging around the shoot-vying for his mom's attention, when he ran over to her and put his hand on her belly, I had my shot.
Legal Assistant Magazine
This woman was featured in Legal Assistant Magazine--I photographed her in a park in front of the Capitol, since the Art Director wanted a local landmark.
GWU Executive MBA Program
Burlie is a Vice President at Lockheed Martin and a graduate of the GWU Executive MBA program. For the promotion brochure, his sextant was chosen to represent his expertise in anti-submarine warfare.
